Event Coverage: Shinefest Pride & Perfection Car Show

Shinefest is back. Our very own car show series began its second year on May 19th. The show is judged by the entrants in nine of the ten categories, with the Best Detailed honors awarded by vote of Griot’s Garage staffers.

The nine people’s choice classes include, Best Truck, Best Import, Best Hot Rod, Best Classic, Best Orphan, Best Exotic, Best Muscle, Best Tuner, and Best Modern Muscle. The second and final Shinefest for 2018 will be held September 29. To enter a vehicle, there’s a $15 pre-registration and $20 day-of-show entry. Sign up at and do it soon because space is limited to 200 vehicles. Attendance is free and open to the public and this is a great event for families. We hope to see you at the next Shinefest, or one of our monthly Caffeine & Gasoline cruise-in car shows held the first Saturday of every month.
