The Car Coozie: It’ll Have You in Stitches

Art, Car Culture, Randomness

In 2006, English art student Lauren Porter took 10 months and used 12 miles of yarn to create a 1:1 Ferrari that really puts Grandma’s tissue box covers to shame. We think she was on to something, and it’s only a matter of time before someone markets “Car Coozies”. Dress up that old Ford Probe! Cover your embarrassing Chevy Vega!

When you see the flashing lights... pullover.

Everything is not as it seams.

Rear-wool drive.

Rear-wool drive.

Your friends and family will be in stitches.

When you see the flashing lights, pullover.

The puns write themselves on this one! Got any more good ones?

I tried to come up with something but I don’t even want to diss her – she did a REALLY great job! Kinda makes you want to snuggle up to a Ferrari.

I’ve heard that fiber makes you go faster.
Fancy, fuzzy, fiber fenders fly full throttle faster on the freeway.
