When is a car worth saving, and when is it just a pile (no pun intended) of metal? It’s a question we constantly debate at IMG Headquarters. Here is the latest installment: We spotted this recreational vehicle revitalization in Frisco, Colorado. Now it’s up to you to decide… Crunk or Junk?
The Dodge Sportsman was the affordable, easy way to get the family together and take a vacation. They were inexpensive by comparison when new, and nowadays most have been relegated to trailer parks and less-than-stellar campgrounds. I think it’s safe to say that the majority of Sportsman RV’s still on the road haven’t exactly been keeping up on their Speed Shine and Paint Cleaning Clay regimen.
When we saw this, um “refreshed” Sportsman in Colorado, we couldn’t help but smile. The painted white walls, the flat black paint job, rock on by the grace of Bon Jovi it’s a rat rod RV interpretation! Prevost Bus eat your heart out!
Alright, what’s the verdict?

NO WAY! totally Crunk. You roll with what you’ve got and if you are too poor to get a real traditional hot rod, you make a rat like this.

I’d rather drive around in Mater the tow truck.

There are times when it’s okay to say “Goodbye to you, my trusted friend” and the trick is to know when that time is at hand. When you are too close to the matter at heart, you should have a close enough amigo to take you aside and explain that it’s okay to let it go…….

Beats the original paint scheme. Nothing screams rapist mobile like yellowing white paint and orange and brown peeling sticker accents. I’d get real white walls though and chrome exhaust tips
