Before becoming Griot's Garage's resident "Edgy Bulldog Ninja Content Generator," Evan was the editor of Turbo & High-Tech Performance magazine from 1992 to 2005. During his tenure at the publication, dubbed "The Birthplace of Import Performance,” the import scene went from a loose subculture to a mainstream industry complete with its own movie franchise. A hardcore car guy, Evan drives a lightly breathed-upon Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX pushing 330 awhp. Evan's "fun in the garage" finds him underneath or under the hood of a 1968 Toyota Corona hardtop coupe that he is trying to resuscitate after rescuing it from nine years under a tarp. Evan keeps it real in the great Northwest, cultivating the automotive culture and looking for that next project hidden in the weeds... Or under another dreaded blue tarp.
