You had to want it on November 7th. We commend all the brave souls who sloshed though rainy weather to attend our monthly cruise-in car show. Spirits were not dampened and plenty of outstanding cars were on hand do there was plenty of eye-candy for those wearing properly layered clothing or armed with umbrellas.
Once again, true to the theme, the parking lot was dominated by German marques. This does not always happen but recent events have been trending to following the theme. We called it “The Cars of Deutschland” and there were high-end rides from the likes of BMW, Porsche, Mercedes Benz, Audi, and VW scattered throughout the parking lot. With the inclement weather the Indy Café was packed and the car talk chatter was loud and steady.
Busy on December 3rd? Pray for clear skies and come enjoy your morning at Griot’s. The Caffeine & Gasoline theme is Pre War Classics and while there will be few Chitty Chitty Bang Bang type of cars here, you never know what you will see pulling in the driveway. Bring your own ride, whether a fully restored gem, barely running project, or anything in between.

Have fun in your garage!
