Porsche Fire-Up Highlights Caffeine & Gasoline

caffeine_and_gasoline_march_porsche_thumbnailMarch was Porsche month at Griot’s Garage. To celebrate, Max RPM Motorsports unleashed the fury, firing up tuned Porsches to the delight of a soggy but enthusiastic crowd. Our victims were a pair of 997 twin turbo 911s. One was a 900-horsepower monster that had yet to be fully tuned. The other pumped out about 600 horsepower.

Our March 1st Caffeine & Gasoline® event drew about 350 brave souls into the cold Tacoma morning. We plowed through 20 gallons of coffee and 360 donuts (which the ravenous masses devoured in less than an hour). If you want breakfast on us, be here when the gates open at 8AM! Our event was followed by an import car show put on by the Higher Standards car club. It attracted 450 people to the Griot’s garage concours area and saw our barbeques fired up for the first time in 2014. Juanito’s Taqueria out of Bremerton had a grill full of sizzling carne asada and nice line-up of customers.

Enjoy a few photos from the day. And be sure to check out the rest on Flickr!
