Your 1956 Ford F100 Wallpapers Are Here

Get your wallpaper groove on with this wicked cool fat-fendered ’56 Ford F100. Of course we like the paint, a custom blend loosely based on Chevy’s Buttercup Yellow, but this Blue Oval has more than pretty paint going for it. Check out its Rally America Artillery wheels and hunkered stance as you add some class to your desktop.

Stampeding Mustangs Dominate Caffeine & Gasoline

Stampeding Mustangs Dominate Caffeine & Gasoline

The deep and distinctive V8 roar of two dozen free revving Mustangs shook the trees and echoed through the neighborhood at our April Caffeine & Gasoline. Griot’s Garage was overrun with ponycars as we paid tribute to 50 years of the Mustang. The coordinated group fire-up sent owners scurrying to their cars to get in on the action.

Vince Gardner and the Two-Seater Mustang

Vince Gardner and the Two-Seater Mustang

The world of custom cars is fascinating. Sometimes history is well-preserved. Other times, as with a shortened, two-seater Mustang that resurfaced a couple years ago, it must be peeled back layer-by-layer. Often, the full and true story (mired in years of  fable, or even corporate secrecy), can never be realized.

Your Chopped-and-Flamed ’37 Ford Wallpapers Are Here

Our customer traded his high school ’73 Camaro for this Ford in 1984, and brought it home in pieces. He finished the car in 2000, and the results are impressive! With 700 horsepower, this beast creates a stir wherever it rumbles. Our four free wallpapers are quiet by comparison so you can, y’know… get some work done. Enjoy!

Point/Counterpoint: What was 1932’s keenest iron?

Point/Counterpoint: What was 1932’s keenest iron?

Detroit is the battleground for one of the oldest automotive rivalries; Ford vs. Chevrolet. The competition has raged for decades, and with the carpocalypse in full swing, we are reminded of another challenging time in America. Let’s look back to see where Ford and Chevy stood in 1932. Who built a car that spoke to the masses then, and still stands as king? Dustin and Derek sound off.

On the Lot: 1935 Ford Pick ’em up

On the Lot: 1935 Ford Pick ’em up

Clear skies never fail to bring out the cool rides. Blue Oval purists might want to look away, but we can guarantee you’ve never seen one exactly like this. A ’35 Ford, originally a flatbed, now fitted with a Chevy long box. The powerplant is a fuel-injected, SBC… and this thing sounds great! Thanks to our customer for bringing it down to share.

Point/Counterpoint: What truck goes best with cowboy boots?

Point/Counterpoint: What truck goes best with cowboy boots?

On this day in 1901, a large hole drilled into a small hill outside Beaumont, Texas exploded to life. The Spindletop derrick spewed 3,000 gallons of oil a minute that day and enabled a young auto industry to expand at breakneck speed. Cars (and Texas) would never be the same. So, In My Garagers… 109 years later, the critical question arises: What truck goes best with cowboy boots?
